Tilt & Turn Window

The tilt and turn window is an inward opening window which can both open from the side and also tilt inwards.

The side hung function is primarily used in the cleaning of the exterior glass and the tilt function is used in connection with ventilation and daily airing.

The sash is operated with a handle which when pointing downwards locks the window.

If the handle is turned fully upwards the top section of the window can tilt inwards giving an opening of 8-10cm.If the handle is turned to the horizontal position the whole window will open inwards.

This window can be used as an escape window as long as the sash size is minimum 500mm and

the frame size is minimum 688mm (W) x 688mm (H).
